Thrift Haul #02

For this outfit I styled it plain because of the loud print of the shirt. When I saw this shirt I was instantly drawn to it because of the print. The way the colours looked beautiful together, along with the effect of it dripping appealed to me.

I paired this shirt with some leather look jeans and my white boots. I also paired it with my round sunnies to give the look a chill vibe.

I decided to pair the playsuit and the kimono together because I thought they make a great going out outfit. I believe that if you want to wear an outfit of the same colour, its great to mix up the textures. The kimono is a sheer kind of material whereas the playsuit is a breezy cotton material. So when paired together, I don’t appear like a walking black blob or something haha. To give me some height I went with my platform boots from Boohoo. I also chucked on my cat eye sunnies to give this look a more sophisticated and sasha-fierce vibe.

So as you would suspect, I went thrift shopping once again. The best thing about the thrift shop that I go to is that on Monday-Wednesdays, they have amazing sales! Which I'm pretty sure anyone can appreciate.
I went in on Tuesday with a friend of mine, and raided the entire store (as you usually do). I managed to snag three pieces. A sick kimono that has this beautiful flower embroidery all over; a simple black playsuit and a button up shirt that has this amazing print which flows from the collar leading down the torso.

These pieces are great for the transition from summer to autumn that we are experiencing here in Australia. Some days it will be chilly and some days it will be scorching hot. The weather has some serious bi-polar issues haha
